I thought to share this pattern with you all. This pattern is one of my first 'real' patterns, so I am not sure if it is easy for you to understand. I have never written patterns that others have read. So let me know if you are able to read this, if not tell me where I can change it.

Body
Round 1: sc 6 into magic ring
Round 2: 2 sc in each sc. (12sts)
Round 3: *sc 1, 2sc in next sc* around. (18sts)
Round 4: *sc 2, 2sc in next sc* around. (24sts).
Round 5: *sc 3, 2sc in next sc* around. (30sts).
Round 6: *sc 2, dec in next sc* around. (24sts).
Round 7: *sc 1, dec in next sc* around. (18sts).
Round 8: *Dec around. (12sts).
End off.
Fins (make 2)
Ch 4.
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook, 2 dc in the
next ch, sc in last ch.
End off.
Tail (make 1)
Leaving a long tail, Ch 6.
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and in next
2 ch. Ch 4, sc in 2nd ch from hook and into next 2 ch. Dc in last 2
ch. End off, leaving a long tail.
* I preferred to make the body lighter than the fins and tail. After
making the fishes I stuck them onto tongue-depressors.
