New Inspiration

Here is something else that I am currently working on...another type of headband.

Headbands

Image
Here is some of the headbands that I made. They are very easy to make and I found the pattern online: http://andromedasfibersart.blogspot.co.za/2012/05/easy-shell-headband-pattern.html. Wonderful quick pattern.

No More Tangle Ear-phones

Image
I am so tired of my ear-phones tangling, so I tried something different and covered them with a zipper. Now I don't have any more tangles.

Arm Bands

Image
Arm bands are excellent for boys, don't you think so?

Yo-yo blanket Progress

Image
My yo-yo blanket is slowly coming along. I am doing other projects and when I am finished them, then I add the left-over yarn to the blanket. So it will end up by being a project made from other project left-overs.

CupCake Continers

Image
I have many of these little frozen yoghurt cups with lids. So I made them into crocheted cupcakes. Only problem is, is that I did a custom made pattern without writing it down, stupid of me. I hope to make more. :-)

Yo-yo's

Image
Hi All I felt like making some random craft, and decided on making yo-yo's. I am not yet sure what I will be using them for but it is nice to make these.  I used a CD for the size.

Quiky blanket

Image
I was feeling bored and needed an idea on what to make. So I took a look at Pinterest, and found this lovely idea on sarahlondon.wordpress.com, for a yo-yo coverlet. I am going to use this pattern for making baby blankets, which I will be adding to my BabyBag collection.  The pattern credit goes to Sarah London. In Progress Close-up of joining

Rainbow Loom Creation

Image
Rainbow Looms are very easy to work with. I made a mummy and didn't quite know what eyes to use. So I opted out for the largest eyes I could find. He really looks funny....

Just for a Say

Hi All It has been a long time since I have posted anything. This is because of all my exams that I am currently busy with. I will soon be finished and will post more often. I do have a question though....where do I get ideas and help for Freeform Crochet? I have never tried this type of crocheting and I am very interested to try. But I need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BabyBags

I have been busy with a charity project for two years. I started at the end of 2013 and still currently busy with it. I have called the project BabyBags and will explain why I have given it that name. I sew cloth bags, simple but still effective, and fill them up with baby clothes or toiletries that people have kindly donated for the cause. I also have been given blankets, but as that is a rare donation, I make my own by either knitting, sewing or crocheting them. I put a little card into the bags to wish the new mothers congratulations on their new family addition. After all the bags are made up, I take them all to Mowbray Maternity Hospital and then the hospital will hand them out to the mother's who are in need. I have made over 2 000 BabyBags and I am still making. I am hoping that this project will over time become something bigger. Anyone who is willing to help me will be welcome. And anyone who feels it in their hearts, a money donation will be welcome for the purchas
